A Franco-Algerian artist trained at the School of Beaux-Arts in Algiers, Samy moved to France in 1994. There, he honed his skills in graphic arts using digital tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
For 15 years, he worked as a graphic designer and art director in Parisian studios and agencies. In 2011, he launched his own studio, specializing in illustration.
Samy has a strong passion for a style inspired by the aesthetics of the 1920s-30s and the 1980s-90s, seamlessly blended with a contemporary touch.
He continually draws inspiration from artists across various disciplines, including George Stavrinos, Patrick Nagel, Andy Warhol, Coles Phillips, René Gruau, Peter Sato, Tamara de Lempicka, Ichiro Tsuruta, Ludwig Hohlwein, Tom Purvis, J.C. Leyendecker, Grace Jones, and Jean-Paul Goude.
He has collaborated with major brands like Coca-Cola, PeosiCo, Nespresso, Evian, Danone, Ferrero, and Lindt.
In luxury spirits, his clients include Hennessy, Rémy Martin, Belvedere Vodka, and Clément Rhum.
He has worked with Coty , Galénic and L’Oréal in cosmetics, Dior, Grand Seiko, Jaeger LeCoultre and Jean-Paul Gaultier in fashion, and Ubisoft and Wizards of the Coast (Magic Cards) in entertainment.
In football, he has partnered with the NFL, the National Football League, FFF and PSG.
He also created a successful NFT collection that has been sold out in 3 minutes called Babyfit.
